The Belmont party that turned into 80s night
We had the Belmont Party but once the race was over at 12:30 we didnt have anything to do but drink. After many beers and three bottles of yeager, we decided the best thing to do would be to raid my costume box. All decided to dress up in 80s gear. Except for Mike - he is in the diapers to put on a sumo wrestling show. We were supposed to go to a sumo match, but due to the amount we drank, we forgot about it until too late. So my friend Jackie went to the store and bought some diapers for Mike and Steve to wrestle in. Not sure who won, but it was pretty freaking funny. Our next party is going to be an American Gladiator party.

Tahiti
I went to Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora in March for work. Contrary to what the pictures show, I was working every day until around 1AM except for the sunday that we arrived. It is beautiful there, and I highly recommend visiting. Learn French or Tahitian before going though since very few people speak English.

Spring Break 2007
Alex and his crew of 14+ spring breakers came out to see me for the first time ever. And they were here for two weeks, so they pretty much saw all of what they wanted to. Now that he is moving to Nashville and it pretty much takes me 2 days to get there, I may never see Polly or him again, but this was a great way to spend our last days together.

These are some pictures from Lanikai beach - my favorite beach on Oahu. I took the spring breakers kayaking and that was short lived as paddle ball seemed much more fun. Ford was the only one to make it to the moke islands that day. Alex impressed us with his 10 pushups on the sand and the rest of us didnt do much of anything. It was very nice especially since i had taken off work.

Sunset at the Moana hotel where alex and crew stayed while on Oahu. It is a really incredible place to watch the sunset. A few more of Lanikai

These are some pictures from Kauai where the first week of spring break was spent. I got to go over for the weekend and see what they had been doing all week. Not much more than sitting on the beach and making an occasional snorkle excursion - it seemed very fun and relaxing.

The ABC Store Boogie Boarding team in action at Waimea bay. Alex needs to wear this outfit on a daily basis. Alex, Polly and Chris each lost a flipper right when they were heading out to the water and everyone that passed by them on the beach was laughing at the haole kids trying to boogie board. It was a comedy of errors. Ford won the award for the best technique and polly won the award for the best wave caught and alex won the award for the best outfit
